Download, install and launch the eRepair Word utility (and register it). eRepair Word should retrieve (extract) data from damaged document or template to helthy Microsoft Word file of .docx, .doc, .dotx and .dot extension or Rich Text format .rtf. Such tasks as: Recover Word files, repair Word files, Word text recovery, docx repair and recovering .docx documents can be done into five easy steps, all of them do not require any special computer skills:

Select the corrupted MS Word document or template to be repaired at the first page of recovery master. You can use the standard Explorer or select the file that was previously recovered or type in the file name manually.



The source damaged Word file is selected.



When the file is selected, click to the Analyze button and confirm that you wish to start the recovery process.



eRepair Word utility will start automatic scann and reading the source file content. It will detect the information of damaged Word file that can be saved later.



When the program finishes the repair process of doc file, it will display all information that it could recover and save from the corrupted Word file. It shows data similar as Word shows it. It is able to preview Word data and scroll it to make sure that all you need will be repaired.

Please inspect the result carefully, demo version shows the same result as the registered one, but it is not allowing to save repaired data with demo version.

Word repair utility will not keep source document formatting, you can see only simple text, without tables, pictures and formatting. Please scroll the text left, right, up and down to see the entire document. This permits to make sure, that the Word text data was recovered successfully and that this tool really works for you, it is very important for demo version users. Repair Word file, repair docx file, recovery Word and Word text recovery is easy. Now you can see, that the entire document was recovered successfully and without blind spots. Word recover, docx recovery, repair Word and recover Word file can be performed even by beginners.

You can use the Actions menu to send your damaged Word file to our support team for analyze and remote recovery in case of any difficulties.

Click the Start Recovery button to save the previewed data.
After this, you’ll be prompted to choose among two items: Save as Plane text or Export to MS Word.

In the first case, the eRepair Word - Word repair tool will launch the Microsoft Word application automatically, all recovered information will be transferred to a newly created document with *.doc extension. The text will remain unchanged, it will look like in preview window, i.e. unformatted. Docx repair, Word repair, Word recovery and Word file repair take approx. several minutes.

In the second case (Save as Plane text) for repairing docx, recover Word and repair corrupted docx file, you will be prompted to choose the target folder and specify the filename to save extracted Word text. It is also necessary to select its type (Unicode or ANSI Encoded Text File). Please click Save to finish the process of Word recover, recover docx, recover Word file and repair docx files.

When the program finishes exporting data to Word, you will be able to save the recovered data as a new Word file. if the Plain Text option selected, the file will appear in specified location.

At the end of processing, the program will show the summary:



ATTENTION: eRepair Word do not change, modify or add any information to the source Word file. Repair tool is reading and extracting data from corrupted Word file and exports data to Word documentsts. The Microsoft Word is required to be installed.
